1. Strict Age Restriction (18+ Only)
CANDY is strictly an adult dating and social platform designed exclusively for individuals aged 18 years or older.
- Users must confirm they are at least 18 years of age during the registration and onboarding consent flow.
- We prohibit minors (individuals under 18) from creating an account, uploading profiles, or communicating on the platform.
- Accounts discovered to belong to or represent anyone under 18 are terminated immediately upon identification.
2. Prohibition of Child Sexual Exploitation and Abuse (CSAE)
In accordance with Google Play's Child Safety Standards Policy, the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act, and international child protection mandates, CANDY strictly prohibits:
- Any creation, transmission, sharing, hosting, or soliciting of Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM) or child sexual abuse imagery in any form.
- Any attempt at child grooming, solicitation of sexual acts from or involving minors, or predatory communication.
- Any non-consensual sexual imagery, sextortion, or trafficking of minors.
3. In-App Reporting & User Protection Mechanisms
CANDY provides prominent, easy-to-use in-app tools allowing all users to report potential safety violations immediately:
- Profile Reporting: Users can tap the options icon on any profile card to report underage users or harmful behavior.
- Chat Reporting: Inside every 1-on-1 conversation, users can tap "Report" to flag messages or inappropriate conduct.
- One-Tap User Blocking: Users can instantly block any individual to permanently sever communication and hide visibility.
4. Proactive Enforcement & Moderation
CANDY employs a combination of automated scanning and human review:
- Immediate Account Suspension: Any account flagged for suspected child exploitation or underage presence is suspended pending investigation.
- Data Preservation: Digital evidence, server logs, device identifiers, and communication records are securely preserved for law enforcement review.
- Device & Identity Ban: Bad actors are permanently blacklisted by phone number, hardware ID, and IP address to prevent re-registration.
5. Mandatory Reporting to Law Enforcement & NCMEC
CANDY actively cooperates with global authorities to combat child exploitation. Whenever child sexual abuse material or child exploitation is identified:
- We report the incident to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) via their CyberTipline.
- We notify regional and national cybercrime and child protection agencies (including India's National Cyber Crime Reporting Portal at cybercrime.gov.in).
- We fully comply with lawful subpoenas, warrants, and emergency requests from certified law enforcement bodies.
